Both give you a video from a design. Figma Buzz is a separate editor with its own file type and has video export built in. Video Exportify is a plugin for ordinary Figma design files: it exports the frames you already have, with nothing to migrate. If your templates live in Figma Design, use the plugin. If your team already works in Buzz, Buzz’s own export is the simpler choice.
| Video Exportify | Figma Buzz | |
|---|---|---|
| Where it works | In Figma design files, as a plugin | In Buzz, a separate editor with its own files |
| Existing design files | Exported as they are | Have to be moved into Buzz first |
| Video export | MP4 or WebM, one frame or several at once | Built in |
| Price | Free for 3 short exports a month, Pro €19 a month | Part of Figma; see Figma’s own pricing |
When the plugin is the better fit
Your social templates, client files and components are in Figma Design, and you want video out of them without rebuilding anything somewhere else. The export looks exactly like the frame, because Figma renders everything static in it.
When Buzz is the better fit
Your team already designs its social content in Buzz, or you want Buzz’s own tools for producing many variations. Then there is nothing for a plugin to add.
