Video Exportify

Changelog

Every version of the plugin, newest first. An update reaches you the next time you open the plugin from the Figma Community.

  1. Version 7 ·

    The clip shows inside cards

    • —A video layer inside a frame with its own fill (a card around the clip, with text above it) no longer exports as a plain block of that colour: the clip plays where you put it.
    • —Pro no longer flips back to Free now and then when you open the plugin.
  2. Version 6 ·

    Try it with our sample

    • —No clip at hand? “Try our sample” on the first screen adds three ready-made posts beside what you are looking at, with a sample clip, and selects the first: one click to your first MP4.
    • —“Use our sample” sits next to Upload video on every layer, for a frame of your own.
    • —A saved licence key the server does not recognise no longer blocks exporting: you stay on Free, and Account says why.
  3. Version 5 ·

Under the hood, for a smoother first export

    • —The plugin notes which steps you reach (picking a frame, attaching a clip, exporting), so we can see where people get stuck and fix it. Nothing from your design is part of this.
    • —Go Pro links open a fresh checkout every time you click.
  4. Version 4 ·

    Meet Robbie

    • —The opening screen says it outright: select a frame, or several.
    • —Robbie, the mascot, reminds you under the layer list when you have picked just one frame: several export together, one video each.
  5. Version 3 ·

Batch export, and a wider window

    • —Batch export: select several frames and get one video each.
    • —Drop clips straight onto layers. Each row shows the layer you designed, then a frame of the clip you attached.
    • —Short clips now loop reliably.
    • —Files are named after the frame, with size, length and date.
    • —Have any export emailed to you. Confirming your address adds 2 free exports a month.
    • —A wider window, and a quieter one.
  6. Version 2 ·

Video fills as you placed them

    • —A cropped video shows the part of the clip you picked in Figma, and a tiled one repeats.
  7. Version 1 ·

    First release

    • —Export a Figma frame as MP4 or WebM, with your clips playing inside its video layers.
