What leaves your Figma file, when, where it goes and how long it stays. For security reviews, and for anyone who wants to know.
Nothing is uploaded until you press Export. Then the plugin sends pictures of the selected frame and the video files you attached to our own storage in Frankfurt, renders the video there, and deletes all of it after seven days. None of it is public.
What is sent, and when

Where it goes
The plugin can reach three kinds of address, all declared in its manifest and all in Amazon Web Services:
- our API in the Frankfurt region (eu-central-1), which starts exports and checks licences;
- our storage buckets in the same region, which receive your uploads and hold the finished video;
- nothing else. The plugin has no access to any other domain.
Rendering, storage and the database all run in Frankfurt. AWS acts as our processor under a data processing agreement. Payments are handled by Stripe; the plugin never sees card details.
How long it stays

What is stored on your machine
Your licence key and your export settings, kept by Figma for the plugin and your Figma account. Nothing is written into your document.
The website
This site sets no cookies. It counts visits without identifying visitors. The details, the legal basis for each of the above and your rights are in the privacy policy.
